Ben nixon Studios

is a frame shop and art gallery located on the Mary Black Rail Trail in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Ben, for those who know, is an amazing photographer and all around artist. With his new venture, he would be opening a frame shop/gallery/studio space. He needed a logo, signage, a website update and business cards that fit his vision.

We began the process with a couple of meetings, discussed colors and aesthetics and then hit the ground running. The resulting logo, at a distance, is clean and professional, but upon closer inspection has strokes that look hand crafted. The ‘BN’ Icon features two interlocking frames. The intention was to create a logo that simply and elegantly marries the three concepts of the space into one image.
